Como hacer efecto óxido. (How to make oxide effect)

Bueno, por fin me he atrevido a sacar mi primer "tutorial". En este caso va a ser de como hacer de forma facil el efecto de oxido en tanques. He pensado en esta forma, ya que es apta, tanto para principiantes como para gente con algo mas de experiencia. Bueno, comencemos.

Voy a mostrar como hago el efecto oxido en un tanque. En este caso va a ser sobre una base gris, pero la misma técnica vale para otros colores base, solamente habria que cambiar los colores con los que pintar el óxido.
Para hacer el oxido, vamos a utilizar un trocito de gomaespuma, tal como este:
Este tipo de "herramienta para pintar", nos vendra bien por su superficie irregular. Mas adelante os mostraré como se que sobre la mini y vereis a lo que me refiero.

I will show how you can make a tank rust effect. In this case will be on a gray, but the same technique can be applied to other base colors, but would have to change the colors to paint the rust.

La base de los componentes a pintar es de color <gris azul claro> de
Vallejo. Asi que en este caso, para la superficie principal del óxido,
voy a utilizar tres colores, <gris azul glaro><negro><tierra>.
He utilizado estos por lo siguiente, el gris para que tenga un tono parecido a la base, el negro para oscurecer y el marrón para darle un tono un poco mas rojizo.

The base component is color painting <light blue gray> of  Vallejo. So in this case, to the main surface of the oxide, I will use three colors, <light blue gray> <black> <brown earth>.
I've used these for the following reason, gray is for the mixture has a tone similar to the base, black to darken and brown to give it a more reddish.

Un vez tengas mezclados los colores, y tenga un tono de color a tu gusto para aplicar, moja un poco la espuma en la pintura y seguidamente la secas un poco con un trocito de papel o un trapo, esto es, para no aplicar una cantidad de pintura excesiva. Una vez aplicado, debería quedarse algo así:

A Once you have mixed the colors and color tone to your liking to apply, you must dip a little foam in the paint and then you dry it a bit with a piece of paper or cloth, this is not to apply too much paint . Once applied, it should look like this:

Para finalizar, vamos a tulizar un cuarto color, en este caso un color cuero, algo más claro que el otro marrón que hemos utilizado anteriormente. Ahora viene la parte más delicada, ya que si nos pasamos de pintura, haremos una mancha demasiado grande y no se quedaría bien. Asi pues, siguiendo el método anterior, mojamos la espuma en un poco de pintura, pero esta vez la secaremos un poco mas que antes. Si os parece demasiado claro el color que vayais a aplicar encima, podeis mojarlo un poco en el color base del óxido para suavizarlo. Aplicando el color con cuidado, el resultado debería ser algo así:

Finally, we will use a fourth color, in this case a leather color, slightly lighter than a brown one we used above. Now comes the trickiest part, because if we apply more paint than necessary,we will stain too much the rust and would not look good.  So, following the previous method, we dip the foam on some paint, but this time it will dry a bit more than before. If you seem too bright color, you can soak a bit in the base color you have mixed to soften. Applying the color carefully, the result should look something like this:
