Como hacer nieve... (How to make snow)

Los ingredientes son los siguientes:
- Cola blanca
- Bicarbonato Sódico

The ingredients are as follows:
- Glue
- Sodium bicarbonate

Although the process is very simple (just have to mix the two ingredients and ready), we see a practical case step by step.
Before beginning, be aware that the mixture will be manageable for a few minutes, so is better to have near the place where you want to use the snow and clear as distributed (remember this is a paste).

Yo usaré esta peana:

I will use this base:

The first thing is to put some glue on a site where we can safely remove. I usually use the ever versatile plastic plates, but a plug or cap can be even better:

Now we have to add sodium bicarbonate. The ratio of bicarbonate to a fluffy snow is saturating the glue with bicarbonate (equally or more bicarbonate than the tail). to more quantity of bicarbonate, the snow will be more fluffy. Unless bicarbonate, more ice will look:

It's time to mix the ingredients well. A toothpick or a clip is ideal, but you can use what pleases you most. The only thing I recommend is NOT use a brush (unless you are old and dont have appreciation). This will give us a whitish and thick paste:

We have snow ... now we are ready to put it on the surface before clumping. I usually use a lancet, but you can use what is most comfortable. As you will have to "control" the mixture, it is best something rigid. We put the snow where we want and this is the result:

We just have to wait for it to dry completely and we will have our base list premiering snow and waiting for the tenant.

Notas a tener en cuenta:

Notes to consider:

Although it seems that the snow dries quickly, which really driesis the surface layer of paste (why  is only manageable for a few minutes, but takes so long to dry completely). The interior is soft and will take several hours to dry completely (I recommend at least one night to make sure). In addition, the final aspect of this mixture will not be until after a few days.
That is, if you put bit of  bicarbonate the first day will look like a layer of fluffy snow, but every day take a more crystallized texture to look like ice.

This feature makes it a very versatile, as it serves to make as much snow as a layer of ice.
The problem is to control the proportions. In the worst case, it could ruin an entire work, which is not liked by anyone.

Personally I consider it essential to make before some tests somewhere so we can get the hang of. It's easy, with a few tests will have dominated it (if I've got, anyone can).

There is also the risk of yellowing bicarbonate, but I have not found the case, or know anyone that has happened.

There are variations to this formula I have not tried:
- Use bicarbonate as artificial turf (put glue on the surface and sprinkle bicarbonate on it).
- Add salt to the mixture.
- Add water to the glue.
- Add white paint to prevent yellowing.
