Imperial Guard "MK IV Male" conversion finished

Ahora que estoy retomando el ritmo a marchas forzadas, traigo de nuevo un trabajo finalizado. Se trata de un MK IV Male conversionado para servir a las ordenes del Emperador. Espero que lo disfrutéis.

Próximo proyecto. KV-2 de la Guardia Imperial

Bueno, debido a los precios abusivos de los tanques de Worxop, opte hace un tiempo por tanques de la Segunda Guerra Mundial para mi compañía acorazada de la Guardia Imperial. Mi nueva adquisición es un KV-2, versión alemana (la cual, no sabia que existía  para hacer un blindado de la Guardia. Este es el modelo y marca:

Es de una marca de calidad media, pero suficiente, con bastante buen nivel de detalle y por un precio mas que razonable para este gigante, redondeando 17€. La verdad es que la estética de este tanque me encanta, y no sabia si darle un aspecto mas gótico, poniendo algunos arcos con unas insignias y demás  De momento no estoy muy seguro de los que haré, pero estoy abierto a ideas.

It is a brand of average quality, but enough, quite good detail and a reasonable price for this giant, rounded  17€. The truth is, I like the look of this tank, and I dont know if make it look gothic, making some arcs with a insignias and others. At the moment I'm not sure that I will, but I'm open to ideas.

Conversión Manticora GI.

Bueno, esta es una pequeña conversión que se me ocurrió hace poco tiempo. Buscando entre los restos de mis juguetes de la infancia, encontré este lanzamisiles de un vehículo de los G.I. Joe, y puesto que tenia el cuerpo de un Chimera por ahí, automáticamente se me juntaron los dos elementos en la cabeza. El resultado es algo así, aunque le faltan algunos detalles pero básicamente es el resultado que tendrá.

The next project: Hardened-battle (curtidos en batalla)

Bueno, el projecto trata de hacer un par de escuadras de veteranos de la Guardia y quiero que tengan un aspecto variado y en plan....digamos.....un poquito bestia. Ademas utilizare conversiones de armas que no se parezcan mucho a lo que es el armamento estandar del Imperio, algo como subfusiles, fusiles automáticos, ademas de escopetas, lanzagranadas, ametralladoras ligeras y demas armas que se me vayan pasando por la cabeza. Todo esto viene un poco inspirado por estos pequeñines:

First Steps: IG SdKfz 222 conversion

Esta es una conversión muy sencilla que hice de un SdKfz 222 (Tamiya, escala 1:35 por si alguien lo quiere saber XD). Es una conversion muy sencilla, me limité a modificar el arma principar para hacerla parece mas del 40k y que pudiera hacerse pasar por un cañon automático, además de añadirle una ametralladora pesada a la torreta.

Por fin he sacado tiempo para poder terminar esta conversión. Sigo experimentando con técnicas de pintura asi que sed benevolentes y siempre son bien admitidos cualquier consejo que me pueda ayudar a mejorar.

POR FIN! Primera prueba con mi aerografo, que hasta ahora estaba sin estrenar. Una maldita semana me he tenido que esperar para poder encontrar un hueco para probarlo. Y tengo que admitir una cosa, me ha encantado pintar con el aerografo, yo creo, que es la mejor compra que he hecho en años, relacionada con el hobby claro. Muy bien, pues aquí están las fotos.

En estas primeras fotos, vereis la preparacion previa que e tenido que hacer para no manchar la parte de dentro, la cual tenía ya pintada anteriormente, y para marcar las lineas del esquema de color.

Después de tener este gran tanque aparcado durante unos meses, sin saber que ponerle para que tuviera un aspecto mas parecido al de los tanques de W40k, por fin se me encendió la bombilla. Se me ha ocurrido ponerle una torreta con un cañón, el cual podría hacer el efecto de mortero o de cañon de batalla. Estas son las fotos del tanque y de lo que será su futura torreta.
